Itty bitty black kitten saved by doggo after losing her siblings, she successfully joins their family in the purrfect Caturday rescue: 'I bet they will be BFFs for life'

It's meowfficial - dogs are the new employees of the Cat Distribution System. You might have noticed recently that many of our stories are featuring doggos rescuing kittens, and you are correct! That's because more and more doggos have agreed to become agents of the CDS, and are now not only rescuers, but also delivery doggos and step-pawrents. They seek out a furry friend of their own, and in doing so, are actively breaking down the old stereotype of cats and dogs being lifelong enemies. 

Sure, not every dog loves cats, and not all cats get along with doggos, but one thing is clear - that they can be great siblings. Doggos raise their kitten kids to be more playful, social, and attentive. Cats help their canine siblings calm down and appreciate the peacefulness of a good nap (or 15). They are like yin and yang, two pieces that work better together to make one balanced fuzzy family. It's inspiring, awwdorable, and purrfectly full of love.

  • All kittens are cute…. but this teeny tiny black kitten is especially cute. The fuzziest little soot sprite we've ever seen. She will make a fine kitty companion, and not just to the doggo, but to her hooman family as well!

    Saukiru Purrfect! * Your dog is the best. Mine adopted a black cat too, he (the cat) was an adult though. We were on a walk and the cat came running to us, it was very cold that day. My ex- shelter lab mix sniffed the cat (now named Teefy) and they instantly bonded. We had two more cats at the time, but we brought him home and never looked back. ANIMALS ARE THE BEST!

  • Very good boy! If you wanted to find us some more kittens, we wouldn't be mad. We've been wanting a black cat for a while now - it's the only color we don't have!

    Traditional_Ad663 I'm curious, was it a process to catch her? A baby void was roughly the age of yours outside my window. I don't want to scare it but there's no mother to be found and this baby needs lots of love- but it's deathly afraid.

    The bittersweet thing is I just lost my own void baby. I had a dream she had returned to me and that afternoon I look to the window to see this little fellow. Does anyone have advice for catching and helping the kitty?
